Description

• Install and maintain fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems, suppression systems and perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with fire codes
• Perform installation by climbing to heights using scaffolding, ladders, and lifts.
• Service and install fire extinguishers, commercial kitchen systems and install commercial fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the NFPA.
• Installing and Working with CPVC Piping, Black Steel Pipe both Grooved and Threaded Pipe
• Consults blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; creates working procedure based on specifications.
• Grinding & Bevelling Pipe
• Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
• Laying out, welding, cutting, bending, threading, soldering, assembling and/or installing Pipe
• Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, or clamps, cuts or bores holes prior to project.
• Pressure Test Pipe Systems to Ensure Safety and Functionality
• Coordinates with manager to schedule machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption to operations.
• Provide Bill of material for upcoming jobs.
• Installing, Modifying and Repairing Fire Sprinkler/Hose Reel Systems
• Installing Kitchen Suppression Systems
• Servicing / Rebuilding Various Types of Fire Pumps
• Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details.
• Be Flexible to work on call 24/7.
• Advise customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
